Think!

  • Ponder about what inner peace means to you. Acknowledge its importance in today’s fast-paced world that bombards us with stimuli from all directions! As an example turn off socials and be fully present with yourself or others.

  • consider how small, smart habits can combine with consistency to achieve a sense of calm and balance.

2. Habits (old dog new tricks!) That Create Inner Peace

  • Mindfulness and Meditation: With multiple stimuli potentially overwhelming us, challenge yourself to be present and practice meditation every day. UNPLUG! #noscreens!

  • Gratitude Practice: Take nothing for granted. This wires our brains with a sense of thanks for even a warm breeze touching our face in the sunlight, or even indoor plumbing and can allow us to shift our negative self-sabotaging mindset and behavior.

  • Simplifying Your Life: It's just stuff! Purge of the useless, both physically and mentally, to reduce stress. This takes focus and discipline to accomplish-reach out to me and we will begin the work!

  • Healthy Boundaries: Take control of your physical and emotional spaces and seriously vet who has access! Emphasize the importance of saying no and protecting your positive energy.

  • Regular Exercise: Endorphins feel amazing and are free! Get moving and let physical activity contribute to your mental well-being.

  • Journaling: Emotion is energy in motion and writing is an excellent way to express and release bad feelings. Jot down thoughts and emotions as a way to process them and gain clarity.

  • Spending Time in Nature: Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall days can be beautiful and fulfilling by just taking a walk! When we connect with nature it can help to ground and calm the mind.

3. Usable Easy Tips for Building These Habits

  • Baby steps: start small and focus on one habit at a time. Keep a log.

  • Set realistic goals and track your progress. Going to big is a fast way to set yourself up to quit or lose hope.

  • Recognize difference between DISCIPLINE and MOTIVATION. Motivation is fleeting-discipline is binding

  • Share examples or anecdotes to make it relatable.

4. After All YOU HAVE THE POWER!

  • You will be amazed at what you will accomplish! You decide how important it is to cultivate these habits for long-term inner peace.

  • Take the first step toward a more peaceful life!!
